A major Israeli newspaper reports than Netanyahu wants to attack Iran, a move opposed by Israeli intelligence chiefs. He is trying to win over one more cabinet member necessary to launch such an attack.

from what i have seen, it has seemed that an eventual war with iran is not something israeli leaders have worked to prevent, but rather the opposite. now it looks as if their intentions are coming to light.

Sorry. I think the Saudis, Sunnis, hate Iran (Shiite) and the possibility of obtaining the nuke. They gave the nod. Also, Ahmendinajad hates France and might nuke them too. They support the destruction of Iran's regime too. I hope no civilians get hurt. Iranians are actually very cool and hate their leaders. Iran was the best suppressor of protests in the Mideast. So, sorry. No sacrificial lambs. Now if Israel can contain the Iranian proxy army called Hez'bull'ah it will be fine. Question is, what will Turkey do? From what I've read, this isn't just about Iran, it's about using Iran to trigger a world war by those who want to reduce the population, while they hide out in their bunkers, and then claim what's left over of the world.
Why would they want a smaller population? The bigger the population the more money they can steal. That's just paranoia.
This isn't just my paranoia, there is a long history of this line of reasoning. If they commit genocide and eliminate lots of people, then they confiscate all the wealth and enslave the small remaining population. Now, the number of people is too big for them to control in the way they would like.

Most coups are controlled by outside actors. I have heard some radical statistics about Gaddhafi though, like that he increase literacy in Libya to 83% from 25% and that he made it legal for citizens to walk the streets, where before only foreigners had had rights. I'm not saying I know anything or have anyway to prove these statistics, but living in America, we have a history of helping out coups for "democratic" reasons, which really means, we want something from them and their leader doesn't like us.

forgive me brother for the misunderstanding. yes i agree, however i don't have the slightest of notions on how to go about it. one thing for sure, there is so much information out there that "i didn't know" is becoming less and less of a useable excuse. all lies that have been told in the dark are being brought to the light.
what i find is that the more an individual invests in something, doesn't have to be monetary, can be just a way of thinking, the more they will resist another telling them that it is a bad investment. there are many that simply do not want to know the truth, for if they do swallow that pill, they find that unless they start doing something about the problem, they are but another accomplice. that is a great responsibility that most don't want, so they go to war with the messenger.
at any rate, there is something greater going on in all of this and that is people are being forced to get off the fence. it is beaconing more and more difficult to be a fence rider. it is either we start living for others or gravitate more towards just living for our own selfish butts. that is the greater choice set before each and every one of us.
That's what I love about OWS, it's a movement to create a society centered around taking care of human needs, not letting greed call all the shots. People who say there is no message, aren't paying attention.

They need to do more than bomb Iran, they need to utterly wipe out the Supreme rulers of the Shia religion. I know many Iranians who are great people, but these religious terrorists need to be eliminated from this planet. Iran is the core.
China and Russia buy lots of energy resources from Iran and will consider an attack on Iran as an attack on them. An attack on Iran would first create a regional war in the Middle East and Central Asia, which could lead to a nuclear war between the US, Russia and China.
You actually think the US Russia or China are going to jeopardize their own societies for Iran? No they wont do that. Russia hates the arabs zealots. Have you so quickly forgotten their involvement in Afghanistan? how about Chechya?
They would not jeopardize their countries for the Iranian people, but for the energy resources that they depend on in the middle east, yes, I do think they would go to war.
