Forum Post: Naive idea .....

Wouldn't it be interesting if the Occupy movement started to take on social projects that don't have the (person)power. Those millionaires who want to contribute could give some (tax-deductible) money to the 'not for profits' who could make sure the Occupiers get something to eat, warm sleeping bags, water-proof tents and clean toilets.

Imagine every day the parks see people going to and coming back from some social project or other. I wonder how quickly the media would pick up on just how much is not being done by the state...... Those "hidden (social) warriors" would suddenly have a face!

Don't get discouraged, naive. Stay in the fight. Many posts don't get responded to because of the sheer number of posts made at any given time. They have a tendency to fall off the page fairly quick. Like I say, hang in there.

It's way more fun to play drums and block traffic. Way.
