Homeland Security director Janet Napolitano issues another threat of a lone wolf terrorist stalking you and striking at any time, and there's nothing we can do. Lions and tigers and bears, Oh My! The world, Europe, America has had Lone Wolves attacking throughout history. Remember the IRA? NYC had the Mad Bomber in the 1940's and 1950's with 33 bombs exploded in the city. There were bombs BEFORE the terrorists of the Middle East. Remember Oklahoma city?
This shit has always been present and always will be. The government and media work together to terrorize the population so it continues to vote for the bloated military and defense budget. War profits the 1% and makes trillions for military industries. It wants endless, win or lose war to keep the money pouring in. The US spends more than almost the rest of the world combined on the military. That money should be used for the 99% to create jobs, lower taxes and save homes. Now I'm going to hide under my covers.

I was watching Ghostbusters the other day on T.V. I remember when the civil servant Venkman shut down the containment grid, even though he was warned not to. As a result, all the ghosts were released over NYC. Then Venkman tried to blame the ghost explosion he caused on the ghostbusters, so they went to jail.
I was wondering, what would happen to the Ghostbusters if this story happened today? Would Bill Murray and the rest of them be wisecracking in Guantanamo bay, held indefinitely without trial? Probably, if we consider that the one-percent would be trying to summon Gozer the Gozerian to cull the 'excess' population.
One thing is quite clear: if there is no threat of terrorism our government will gladly provide one.

That's like stopping three World Trade Center bombings every year.
