I am FAXING the following letter off to all of my representatives. Both my senators voted for this piece of shit. I am sure that my Republican congressman will also vote for it so he is getting a pre-emptive letter.

Faxing is the fastest and most direct way to immediately get a letter into the offices of a member of congress and by pass the contaminated letter security systems.

Dear Sen. Bob Casey, Sen. Pat Toomey and Congressman Charlie Dent:

Your Yea vote on the Constitutionally contemptuous authoritarian National Defense Authorization Act makes it impossible for my wife and I to ever vote for you. I want you impeached or recalled as they people of Montana are attempting with their senators who voted for this un-American legislation.

Do they have Facebook by chance?

I don't know or care.

I talk directly to the offices of the legislators. Not to the diluted third party distractions.

If a thousand OWS supporters in each state FAXED a letter directly to their senators today it would be the first talking point on their first day meeting back from the holiday. Send it to their D.C. offices and their local offices as well.

Social networking can be an easy way to share comments that all your friends and family can see (maybe some points for awareness). That being said I'm all for faxing letters to their offices!

Anonymous postings on third party social network sites will be ignored by members of Congress. They care about constituents who sign their names to their opinions.

I agree. I'm not saying hit up their social networking sites in place of signed letters, rather hit them up as well (just another way of making your support as public as possible). I commented on my Senators pages, then shared the information (as well as their local and D.C. office numbers/addresses/web links) for everyone on my list to see.

Really, most people don't care about the anti-revolution measures being put in place by the ruling class.

[-] 2 points by divineright (664) 12 years ago

I'm for working for change from this angle if it gets results...not that the effort should only be focused on recalls though.

Most people are completely unaware of this bll.
