I hope you all have a merry christmas and I cannot think of a better way to celebrate than to pack up your things, take a break on protesting, and go shopping. You have loved ones, I am sure. You would be helping the economy and giving your loved ones the gift of material gain.
Merry Christmas, OWS

Well meaning, but I am afraid that approach will not work in today's environment. Our manufacturing base has been so eroded. There is also an American out there who has a job that involves selling foreign goods.

Did you try the links on the right side ? There are literally thousands of things still made here.

We won't get back our middle class with low skilled sales jobs. Worse, many of the low end jobs are being taken by robots. See http://occupywallst.org/forum/the-rise-of-the-machines/

We The People can help fix this, but we have to start excercising our consumer power responsibly. See http://occupywallst.org/forum/the-power-of-the-people/
