Hey, I am a college student doing a project on media coverage of the Occupy Wall St. protest. My thesis statement is: Although the protest are now being followed in the media (after about three weeks without coverage), all the broadcastin has not been positive, nor has the media given it full attention, I argue that this is due to the conglomerations of large companies run by the elites that control the media. What are your opinions on the topic? Do you think that there has been proper media coverage? Why or why not? Do you think that the coverage has been negative? Why was there such a delay in media coverage? Any opinions are welcome! Thanks in advance!

If it bleeds, it leads.

Good things are boring. Peaceful protests are boring. News runs on market share, so only controversy and violence make them money.
