Gov. Pat McCrory picks so many winners he should play the ponies.
McCrory named as his chief lobbyist Fred Steen II, a state chairman and board member of ALEC, a rightwing organization funded in part by the Charles Koch Foundation.
Until last year, Steen had represented Rowan County in the N.C. House of Representatives for four terms. He had higher aspirations for Congress that were quickly dashed when he placed fourth in a five-way race for U.S. House in the Eighth District.
While in the N.C. House, Steen was a primary or co-sponsor on 54 bills,

And FYI – They are doing everything they can do to create
a new constitutional convention [Article V Convention]
that can propose virtually anything:
All schools – privatized
All medicare/Medicaid/SocialSecurity – privatized
No cap gains tax
No inheritance tax
Tell me – what else do you think an Article V could do?
McCrory’s former law firm moving up in lobbying ranks
The Charlotte law firm Moore & Van Allen’s lobbyists represented three times as many special interests in the 2011-12 legislative session as compared to the previous one, moving them into the top dozen influence peddlers at the statehouse.

ALEC pushing right wing agenda on guns, vote suppression, and more. Undoubtedly a major enemy of the 99%.

It appears that corporations that are registered with ALEC are funding both parties, and many major agencies in government, regardless of power.

Knowing this now, I hope everyone pledges to never vote for a candidate that accepts money from someone who is openly in bed with this group.
It would be interesting to see a break down of each corporation on that list and the amount of donations they have made, and to whom.
