Forum Post: Massive Sidewalk Sit Down

Yesterday in Times Square, as the police got jumpy, we were all told to sit down which we did.

People think that a sit in/sit down is a great form of non-violent protest.

I think a massive sidewalk sit down, which would block everything, and be legal (I think), and would have the effect of forcing Wall Street people to move into the street effectively becoming the ones to block traffic, might be a great action.

This could also be done in midtown Manhattan at either the lunch hour or the end of the work day, really bollixing things up.
