Last week the 'liberal' party in the Netherlands (VVD) proposed to deny the people contributing to 'Occupy' the right on social welfare. They should better find a job, according to the VVD. The Dutch governement is issueing so many cuttings that economists seriously fear for a backward economic development (i.e. higher unemployment, less shopping, lower house prices) as a result of governement policy. Which I think is already happening.
