I think the movement needs to do to command positive national attention. At present, there appears to me to be a real risk that the movement will fade into the woodwork of the national consciousness. To garner sustained national attention, I think there should be an Occupy March on Washington where Occupiers from around the country would descend en masse on the Mall for a daylong event with keynote speakers, etc. Historically, this sort of event has galvanized the nation and forced those in power to take notice. Don't let the momentum fade - march on DC!!

Why make it a daylong? just move the entire movement to the capital steps and surround the White House. This is what the Tea Party has been suggesting all along. OWS would find lots more support if they went after Washington rather than what they are doing.
