Forum Post: Make Democracy Transparent

ProPublica, the terrific public journalism website is calling for help.

The Supreme Court’s misguided “Citizens United” decision created SuperPACs that have anonymous donors and floods of money that is aimed at influencing our democracy.

Much of the SuperPAC money is flowing to radio and television station advertising. And although these stations are legally required to disclose the buyers of political advertising, they are trying to conceal the information by providing only paper copies available for viewing at the station.

ProPublica needs your help.
