Detailed real time control of the government by citizens.

  1. We should have detailed up to date information on our governments' and on corporations' decisions and activities.
  2. We should have the power to take or influence decisions of our government through real time voting or polls.

We should apply this rule to our movement first: all discussions which decide the future of our movement must be posted on YouTube.

Power must be shared.

We should know what american corporations are doing,I agree, especially when corps like IBM are giving our jobs to outsourced countries like philippines. I just visited manila and discovered that IBM along with Pfizer, CVS, BMS, Kraft, Proctor and Gamble, Discover and other major US corps are employing filipinos instead of bringing these jobs back to American soil. While visiting I even asked many filipinos about the outsourcing issue and I was shocked to know these young 19 to 27 yr old employees dont care about the sufferring of americans and the job losses, they dont know anything about american culture and are only interested in the products america can give them like iphone and macbook, US foods like TGIF etc but dont 2 sh##ts about taking our jobs or our history as an american people. I felt we as Americans were being raped and violated and robbed of our dignity and jobs by filipinos who dont care about America -- they only care about how much stuff they can acquire, and they are acquiring our jobs thanks to the mentioned companies listed.

We should learn to care about each others - BOTH WAYS.

those phillipinos buying american products keeps those american corporations hiring (both americans and in other countries) .. and those corporate taxes are helping pay for your social security and medicare

why should phillipinos care about america? do they have a moral obligation to ensure our quality of life? do you care about the phillipinos?

Power must be shared amongst people- corporations are NOT people. Corporations ought to have no play in what the government carries out.

It is becoming more and more clear to more and more people that we must terminate the entire inherently flawed corporate system, in favor of wither a sole proprietorship or worker owned, democratically run businesses, both of which should be over sought by a democratically elected chairman on a federal level.

"Power must be shared amongst people- corporations are NOT people. Corporations ought to have no play in what the government carries out."

This is precisely what I said.

"It is becoming more and more clear to more and more people that we must terminate the entire inherently flawed corporate system, in favor of wither a sole proprietorship or worker owned, democratically run businesses, both of which should be over sought by a democratically elected chairman on a federal level."

The democratically elected chairman on a federal level will behave exactly like your currently democratically elected government, only that it will be much worse, because in your proposal that bureaucrat would also own the economy. I have lived through this hell in a communist country, but maybe you want to try it yourself.

Infeasible. You have no say in corporate activities if you are not a share holder. (ie: would i have any right to how you run your household?) You already have influence decisions through your elected officials.

If you wanted individual voting rights on every single issue, you would end up with what you have with OWS... ie: incapacitated by indecision

Infeasible is what is going on now. Yes, you have rights to know about my household. I can't build a bomb in my household. I can't build a tall building in a residency area. Those corporations are bigger than most states on Earth, so stop fooling around.

I can't influence decisions through my elected officials because they are all bought by corporations. I need 24/7 control over them to overpower corporations in speed and strength. Again, don't play a fool anymore, please.

Well, we will see about the capacity of decision making. You imagine that illiterate French peasants where able to make decisions in 1789? We just have to learn. You're invited.
