The TEA Party now has more public support which means you are doing something wrong. Without direction or a true purpose, OWS will fall by the wayside. You should no longer claim to be the "99%" when you only have around 40% of the people supporting you. If we had a direct democracy (like so many here want), you would lose to the TEA Party in a vote.

Don't worry. OWS won't change. After tomorrow their popularity, such as it is, will plummet.

Of that, I have no doubt.

The Tea Party has more public support because it is much clearer what they stand for, whether you like it or not, namely: a smaller federal government.

OWS is all over the place. How can you garner much support when your prospective supporters are asking: "What exactly is it that Occupy Wall Street is about?"

Occupy will marginalize itself. It does not need to worry about distortions in the media, or mischaracterizations by politicians.

The occupiers were already marginalized, that's why there's protest. The movement may be martyred an reborn a few times by Feb 2013.

What is significant about that date?
