Is like being trapped in an abusive relationship. Our jobs, the companies we often have no choice but to do business with is like waking up in the morning knowing that you have no alternatives. So you plug on, deposit your pay into an account, you get that sinking feeling in your gut, the same each time you open a bill, open a new account or take out a loan. You wonder if tomorrow that dog is going to bite you and just how bad it will be...medical bills, insurances, mortgages and on and on. Then you go to your job, where you are reliant on that pay to survive, you aren't happy, you are numb and tired, and bullied, but there is no way out...your pay is just enough to break even on bills, upward mobility only exists among the rich...who own all the businesses and property, and banks...and you must kneel down before them in the subservience they caused and created by making laws through bribery to build on your reliance. You must behave and live how they like. You musn't be outspoken or an individual...even the propaganda that I hear repeated most often from the mouths of babes is..." special snowflake"...special snowflakes are those reliant on corporations to live, who musn't ever believe their lives mean anything and who musn't want more because it could always be worse...we are not meant to dream, we are not meant to have, we are not allowed to be Individuals with a sense of importance for this of all things is arrogant BUT...stealing from the masses is grand , stealing from the working people and the abused citizenry is clever and entrepreneurial, and reeling from the hits ....we lose our ingenuity, our hope fades, we become numb and accustomed to normalized abuse...and we keep going back for more because we have to. We live between the subway platform wrapped in blankets on a cold winter night, or the warm sheets of our tainted providers. If we do not get up and fight back eventually we become owned. The slaps become punches...the abuse always gets worse. So America? Are we going to stay our corporate government's battered victims with few choices before us or are we going to take a breath stand tall and rise...and fight back? We are not done yet. Ban corporations from the system...they are not people. They have become our government in a hostile and corrupt takeover...drain the swamp for real. Oust anyone with corporate ties...destroy the corporate oligarchy. REGULATE BIG BUSINESS in every way possible so they can no longer breathe, squeeze them in the balls...tie a rope around their wrists put a gag in their mouths....pull out the fines and red pens, call in the national guard and police, jail them all and reign these fuckers in so they can never hurt us again. The time is now...we are the people...this land is yours and mine...it doesn't belong to an insulated multinational tax free conglomerated entity...and more We actual people do not belong to them.

We are the free people of these united states who own the right to fight back against corruption...we are all in this together. We will not be distracted or divided for long...for we have free though t and compassion and we will not forget our enemy is seeking to divide the fight of the little people...for our numbers are strong and together we can conquer the oppressive force destroying democracy in a nation where we can still speak freely and we can still rise up...they have taken their last swing at our faces.

Solidarity elf & thanx for your heartfelt forum-post & apologies for the presumptuous paragraphing above but I'm getting on a bit now (6 years after OWS started) & so I need to break down any monolithic blocks of text into more manageable and therefore legible - chunks. Alas the ''United States of Amnesia'' (Gore Vidal) - is paving the way for .. The (Dis)United States of Corporations under the auspices of Oligarchy's version of Extreme Psycho-Crapitalism - that is Neoliberalism. Thanx for your excellent 'cris de coeur' & in compliment, please consider ...
