I see what you are saying about or industry manipulating and running our government into the ground. but the root issue is the party's, They are fake teams both payed off by there own forms of corporate greed. i don't see why Occupy does not change its goals from asking for things to change to just running as a grass roots party and making a change. you are growing in popular opinion. you have people all over this country behind you. All you need is to start setting up candidates for every aspect of our government and push the corrupted party's out. the way i see it is that the party take in all the special interest money then dole it out to there candidates. Then when they are elected into office there party dictates how they pay back favors. why not cut out the middle man? Make occupy the party online to find the views of your candidates on you tube rather then spending millions on campaign adds that no one like any way. this would eliminate the favors and a lot of the corruption, but the key is to do this in every state and have the real people in this country take it back from the party's. I believe occupy has the power to start this, what i like to call the peaceful take back of America. that is the one thing the American people have left is the ability to vote for who we want, and for too long we have been choosing from two sides that are really don't care about you past the ballet box.

This is a very lofty and honorable goal - but how do you ensure your party isn't bought out by the very same things that we are fighting now?

Our government didn't start corrupt. Our politicians probably don't start out corrupt. It just happens.

Yes you are so right politicians probably don't start corrupt. but with all the money there party's take in on there behalf for adds and general campaign finance. by the time they are elected into office they have such a list of favors to pay back that they are forced into corruption. think like a large drug front cash up front favor later.

As for are government oragan, or government didn't start with politicians, it started with people aka representatives. and the people who wrote up the plan we still fallow gave power to the people if they take it. at the end of the day they need or vote.I simply say we create a new option that is on a budget like the rest of the country. i would think if you started on the platform that we are not taking corporate money of any kind, and we truly know what people are going through because we are really one of them, with bills, and house payments. some were along the lines in this country we were all convinced that our government is a politicians job, it is not it is a representatives job, and as long as i have voted, and i do vote i feel i have never elected a true representative of me.

As for lofty this is not lofty right now there are people all over the country agreeing that things are not working right. We are banding together in new school American fission and complaining to those who don't care in the first place. With the net and many generations that know how to use it a grass roots party could hit all the ears it needs too. I don"t think this idea is any loftier then expecting the people on top and responsible to just say "oh yeah your right we should change that". That sounds lofty, if you want change that takes work a true organized revolution via the vote. That is the difference between our generation and old hard asses they would take direct real action want changes go to the source, OCCUPY the seats now taken by party puppets and pass the laws needed to prevent this. The one thing i will say is this is lofty for 2012 but if it started now for 2016 i think it could have a chance, by then people may be just sick enough to listen, and consider maybe we don't need politicians and corrupt party s working for the intrusts of greed instead of people.

Then find us a candidate worthy of our respect.

Our founding fathers expected us to pick our representatives FROM and OF the people. Someone that understood the people he/she represented.

I am not opposed to a new party necessarily but I am wary that the end result might be more of the same.

Not a candidate man. you would need to fill it all or at least take most of it back, one good president would end up dead. you need to take back house, senate, and president. If you didn't checks and balances would trump one good guy president. the veto power would still be in the hands of the payed off. you would need many people, and a forum like this to start but it could be done.

the forum would be were you decide who goes were in our party

I am just saying now with the net and networking of this kind we can organize and pick the people we really need to lead us. maybe or candidates are machinist instead of a political science major from Harvard. because lets be honest a lot of those Harvard and Yale guys don't know what it is like to really balance a check book or how to live week to week on a true budget. maybe it should be real peoples turn not "expert" because they kinda suck

Still need a representative. Still need someone to put forth.

Find that person.

we would need a web site designer and the ability to talk to the figure head of this group, whoever speaks to the media before tomorrow, I have a idea.

Getting a website is easy. You've got the world's most elite coders and hackers backing the movement. I'm sure whipping together a website is second nature to these people.

Finding someone people will rally behind -- that's tough. They must be charismatic, intelligent and quick on their feet.

yeah that is true, but if we wait on that nothing will get done

The idea is great, but we are still complaining to those who made the mess rather then trying to fix it. i do support all those that can go though, if i had the means i would join ya.

all of this campaigning could be done through social media and you tube we have the ability and occupy has the platform. we just need to agree to purge out these party pigs then get down to issues after. there is no republican and democrat, that is just a set of made up teams to give you the allusion of options. first and for most we are all Americans.
