This has become a big election issue. Not sure what to think about this;
The West wanted Moammar Ghadaffi out and dead. They got that but had to arm Islamists to do so. This is a game that goes back to Afghanistan and continues in Syria as we chatter here. It is a big gamble and such risks being taken by the west imply a desperation that hasn't quite been explained in a way most people can understand.
