What? Why is OWS debating among each other and why are certain people trying to label this movement? I'm sorry but what makes you think either party will help our country? Both parties are morally corrupt. The only difference between each party is one wants to raise taxes while the other wants to lower taxes. I really hope OWS isn't that naive to think our financial crisis will be solved by simply changing our tax system. The redistribution of wealth will not help our economy. What we need to protest is our central bank. They have destroyed the economy. Do not play into any political party and realize it is basically we the people against them.
Me personally, I support Ron Pau l. I believe his auditing the fed and futurely nationalizing it is the best thing for our nation. Also backing our currency with something besides hopes and dreams is necessary. Returning gold coins as currency also is very important. Silver also can be used.
We can all pretty much agree government is out of control, therefore we need to cut government. Slim it's size and pay off our debt. Actually try peace and use machinery and our industrialized nation to our advantage.
Everything is So wrong and we, our generation, can and will fix it. I just hope it's before everything collapse.
Moving currency back to a standard is a horrible idea. Once we lose the ability to manipulate currency, we will be thrown back to the Middle Ages. Look at the problems Greece, Italy, and Spain are having. Because they are tied to the Euro, they cannot choose to devalue the currency to increase export activity. They are really screwed and I care not to put my own country in such a position.
If redistributing wealth won't help America why did the US redistribute wealth to the wealthy????????? ??? ??????????????????????????????
Well there's no debating in any intelligent way on the TV ---------we need intelligent debate somewhere and this seems like a great forum.
