Dear President Yudof,
Kent State or current day Egypt. One of these is the path that you have chosen for protest at the University of California with your decision to do next to nothing. You must do better.
Non-violent protest/speech/assembly can never be met by violence, but violence has been the response of your university. UC Davis police made a false statement about why the students were attacked with chemical agents. Chancellor Katehi has made multiple false statements about the situation on her campus. You released a pathetic email yesterday.
Rectify the situation. Lt. Pike must be arrested. Chancellor Katehi must be fired. You must resign if you believe you have any dignity.
Occupy will prevail without regard to the path you choose. History will remember you by the path you choose.

Violence against a person do nothing but sitting on the ground is never permitted. It is not lawful for the police to spray chemical agents on them, and it is not lawful for members of the public to attack them.
By the way, if you watched the videos of the students being attacked by the police, the students were not blocking the police and the police walked freely from side to side as they attacked the students.
unfortunately peacefulperson is a liar......why do i or anyone have to be blocked from a sidewalk on the way to class or to work by marauding whiny babies who are disrupting my intention to go work or actually participate in my education that parents are paying $50,000.00 a year for! They we're BLOCKING A PUBLIC SIDEWALK....THEY WE"RE WARNED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND STILL DID NOT NOT MOVE DISRUPTING THE FLOW OF OTHERS JUST TRYING TO GO TO CLASS.....FUCK YOU!
