I call on musicians all over the city to descend on Occupy Wall Street to play unamplified music. Food and shelter are important, sure, but you got to have good music. My name is Home Fries and I am a master harmonica player. I look forward to seeing my musician brothers and sisters soon! Let's get it on!

Here's an OWS protest song - not Dylan-derivative despite the harmonica. called "No It's Not OK" - listen & free download at http://www.reverbnation.com/vegetarianblues

Good music, such as that played by the very nice New Orleans style jazz band that I saw last weekend, is welcome.

However, it seems that every attention seeking fruitcake in the tri state area is converging on the OWS protest because it features a ready made audience with media access. A number of these folks come bearing noisemakers of one description or another and style themselves "musicians". Especially egregious are the drummers. Also annoying are the tuneless folk singers regaling us with Bob Dylan numbers from a bygone era. Back to the woodshed with you!
