We should strongly reconsider the representatives placed at the Southwest corner of Liberty Square. Reps chanting "don't be that guy" are verbally harassing any and all visitors for money. Most visitors are stopping by to learn more about the occupation and lend support. They are greeted by an angry group shouting nonsensical rap lyrics and demanding hand outs. The "don't be that guy" group could not explain what they stood for or what they wanted to see change. When asked what the donations would go to, they could only say "coffee" and reiterate a Jay-Z rap about 99 problems.
They severely detract and discredit a campaign that is trying to use peace and intelligent conversation to further its goal.
I hope Occupy Wall Street doesn't become "that guy".
If I were a business owner, that would make me want to say, "I got 99 problems but a bitcher ain't one. Now put up or shut up."
I have a hard time believing there is anyone at Liberty Square who is just looking for a handout.
