Forum Post: Legal Argument - If only Citizens can Vote, why can corporations participate politically?

Corporations can't vote because they aren't human citizens. The Constitution says only citizens can vote. Doesn't it logically follow that only citizens can participate politically? (spend money on lobbyists, contribute to campaigns, etc...)

Good point! Free speech should only apply to individual people.
