Well Chris, you have touched upon one of the most often debated and difficult questions to arise on this forum. I have to say it has also been one of the most contentious!

The issue was passionately debated in the early days here, and I think quite a few people left the forum in frustration over it; but it is still a valid question, and your input on the subject is valuable.

Personally, this is the single issue that in my time here I have been unable to resolve in my own mind. During the long debate that went on earlier I found myself oscillating back and forth between the sides that advocated remaining leaderless and those who felt leadership was needed.

There were very strong, very persuasive arguments put forward for remaining leaderless at the outset, a fact which at first really surprized me. And yet overall, I tend to agree with you that greater coordination is badly needed. Still, here we are, the most popular people's movement in modern history, and we have gotten there without leaders! Quite an interesting fact, when you think about it!

I would like to encourage you, however, in refining and putting forward your ideas. They seem to have a solid foundation, and as we go forward we should not shrink from debating these essential issues, because only through continued debate will we find effective means to deal with circumstances as they evolve.

Thanks.
