Lawrence Lessig is a professor of Law at Harvard University. For years he has specialized in copyright law. When he found he was getting no traction in that area he turned his eye to the root, which was the influence big monied special interests have over government legislation. Just when the OWS movement was just starting up, he was hosting a conference calling for a constitutional convention at Harvard. The conference was held in collaboration with his organization Fix Congress First, and the Tea Party, as he believes that campaign finance reform should not be a partisan issue.
I have contacted him saying that he should make an "Inconvenient Truth" style film, as he is very good with a power point presentation, and his message is one that I believe all Americans should hear:
