Yes I know my enemies They're the teachers who taught me to fight me. Compromise, conformity, assimilation, submission, ignorance, hypocrisy, brutality, the elite. All of which have become American dreams. All of which are American dreams.

Born with insight and a raised fist

A witness to the slit wrist, as we're

movin' into '92

Still in a room without a view

Ya got to know

Ya got to know

That when I say go, go, go

Amp up and amplify

Defy

I'm a brother with a furious mind

Action must be taken

We don't need the key

We'll break in

Something must be done

About vengeance, a badge and a gun

so rip the mic, rip the stage, rip the system

I was born to rage against 'em

The members of Rage Against the Machine have been activists since before they were famous.

Rage Against the Machine was right. About everything.

Hell ya. Isn't that the point? We tear down the 1% and let someone else have a turn.

I wrote this today to honor my father and later I came up with a question that all citizens should ask themselves . Do we place the same value on our constitutional rights for justice and freedom if we earned them or inherited them? -----------------------In honor of my father Norman on this veterans day. My family has been proud to fight for our fellow Americans freedom. My father, 4 of his sons and, 1 grandson has served in the US military. My father served in the US Army and fought in WW2 and returned home to become my families first honorably discharged disabled war veteran. 3 of my older brothers Gary, Paul, and Harold enlisted with the US Marine Corp. While serving in the Marine Corp my brother Gary was bitten by a mosquito that gave him malaria and he nearly died. After Gary recovered from malaria he received his honorable discharge for his services. My brother Harold fought in Vietnam and Iraq. Harold was honorably discharged from the Marine Corp after a 22 career. My father’s grandson Wayne is Harold’s son he also enlisted in the Marine Corp. Wayne fought in Iraq the same time his father Harold was fighting there. Wayne’s military career lasted for 20 years then he was honorably discharged for his services. My brother Paul enlisted in the Marine Corp and then the US Navy. He served over 12 years in the military. Paul received 2 honorable military discharges for his services. My name is John and I enlisted with the US Army for 6 years. The year was 1975 and the war in Vietnam had ended 2 years earlier. While in the military I was never involved in a war. After my 6 year enlistment ended I was honorably discharged for my services. My father has left behind a legacy of honor. It was an honor for my family to give back to our country because of one reason we had to protect our inherited constitutional rights for justice and freedom.
