Of the sincere comments, one group says, "stop seeking instant gratification", one group says, "it's over" and "what next"? One group looks back and feels gratification for what has been done while the other group looks ahead for more to do. Don't just pat your back over the greatest mobilization to date and reject new efforts and methods to expand the movement. What is the limit? We won't find out if we don't try to draw in more people who want to do more. Every tool must be used to advance our cause and the time is now to start organizing voting power. Find your Congressional District here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_congressional_districts Meet up with all you can find in your district and elect two representatives for the National Convention in Philadelphia on July 4, 2011. That alone will give the people in your district two potential Congressional Representatives for the November National elections and draw publicity and votes for the 99ers. People want to do, not watch and wait! It's a peoples movement, so move! Don't ask!

It has to be a long educational process to gain conscientious support of some majority. Otherwise we risk violence, which only propels new elite to the top. This is what http://superunion.org is for.

You are right malikov. But we have no time. Or we do, or we dead.

[-] 1 points by malikov (443) from Pasadena, CA 12 years ago

Exactly, dead. However, the masters (and slaves) were here for a very long time, and survived many revolutions. I plan to spend what's left of my life on it, and hope it is possible to shift the course permanently, without violence, within a decade, so we can enjoy that future.

The problem is I need lots of help, and am getting none. Why?

You are right about that, malikov. There are no reason to live slave's life when you can't climb out of poverty working for years, but rich going crazy from their millions of easy earned $$$. You need help? Ask those who have money!

Everyone has a dollar, and those who don't - they are welcome for free (to my project, that is.)

I shouldn't ask the rich to fund my project (as well as place advertisements) - that will undermine it in the long run. It has to be funded by members, those who make under $200,000/year, from a bum to highly-qualified programmers, and represent their interests. Our interests.

The rich's millions and billions always get back into the system within two-three generations. I don't think re-distribution of wealth ever does any good. But re-distribution of income - yes, that's one of the goals.

that is not going to happen. I think you might be way over your head with that one. I can sense your passion but that might just do more harm then any good at all. Also, who exactly is the MASTER?

May be it will be painful for a while. Current leaders who is in charge show no skill in managing society. You think yourself who masters are. To many of them everywhere. Otherwise this movement will achieve nothing. Change whole government. Make it serving those who elect them not themselves, packing their pockets with so much money, they do not know what to do with it. Governments should be volunteers who do not have conflict of interests. Means the should have no possessions all their life. They must devout their life to higher cause. Now are you going to ask me what higher cause is?

I do not believe masters is the best word. Makes me think that we are slaves, but that is not the case here. Also, there are many other threads that address the subject more thoroughly than this short title and sentence, so I did not takes this thread too seriously.

Sure 99% are poor like slaves! Look at them, in the richest country in the world they have no roof and mostly so low pay that all life they can't climb out of poverty. And look how much government get payed! How much money on accounts of 1%. They are going crazy from their millions! And "Get better job!" will never solve it. The opportunities are totally unequal from the beginning!

I dont know if I have stated this, but that is Capitalism for you. The 99% is poor like peasant not slaves. Slavery makes me think about our Masters actually controlling us. Money wise, we are peasants.

Aside from that, you are right, the worst group of people that is rich is the government.
