The Federal government has become the action wing of the rich elite. Why not go back to taxing the states? If the feds try to subvert the will of the people the states will starve it of money, which is something that an individual cannot do. Action happens at the local level where your voice means more.
It will only work if the states have their own banks. As long as we use the FED to create our money out of thin air, and charge us interest for it, there will be no other reforms possible. The states are allowed to charter banks, and coin money under the Constitution.
