Hi there. I recently watched a documentary (BBC Panorama) highlighting the starving children in America. I feel so sad that the children go to bed hungry and most of them are eating only once a day. One little girl was interviewd and it was very shocking to hear that her mother ate a rat just to keep away her hunger pangs. What disgusts me most is that the government officials who were interviewed were denying that children dont go hungry. I hope the Occupy Movement would never stop to fight injustice to the poor. The children are the most affected. Please help the poor children.
Yes, that really is sad to hear, and stories like that are becoming way too common here in America.
What's even sadder is when neocons and neolibs try to say how globalism has raised our standard of living, yet the more we offshore to china, the more our communities break down.
Locally our food pantries go empty because the needs are so great, I just hope people wake to this fact that they were sold a pack of lies from leaders in both parties, because they were bought by the mega corps.
