My name is Joe Bankster. I borrow money at an interest rate of 1/10 of 1 percent. (almost free) I then take that same money and lend it to people at different rates. For real estate I will charge you a mere 3-5%, but if you don't pay me I will take back that house. For an auto loan I will charge you 7-10%, but if you don't pay me I will take back that car. Unsecured loans are my favorite! I can charge you 16.99 % for that money and if you make a single late payment I will then start charging you 31%! At that point I own your ass, pal! Now the best part is that there is no risk in any of this to me because if I'm irresponsible and make bad loans the people that lent me the money in the first place will just start up the printing presses and lend me some more. I had a brother in-law that once tried to knock off a liquor store, he's doing 10 years in jail. Me, I've got a nice mansion on the north shore of Long Island. I guess the old saying is true, "If you steal a little they put you in jail, if you steal alot they make you king." I'm thinking of running for President someday. With my expansive business knowledge I feel I could really help the corporat --- err, I mean the country.
