Excellent Topic. .. Coal has been know to have carcinogenics in it's by product for over 3 generations! ..It's why i just Laugh at Romney for backing it in his campaign! ... People Remember the News about this.

Problem is Obama supports it as well and LNG/Oil Fracking. We The People need to band together and protest for the banning of these things ASAP with investment expansion into true green energy independence.

I agree!

Protest Obama and all pols against the reckless, dangerous practice of fracking!

I think that if we got all of the health/sickness groups/charities together with each other and got them working together with the environmental groups that we could make a real voice to be heard by the public at large and by government. This could be the way to start a campaign like the Move to Amend Campaign. End destruction of the environment and remove a major cause of cancers and other illnesses that lead to death.

It is worth a try. It certainly is what is required. I'm going to anti fracking protests it seems more than OWS events in the last few months.

NYS is in the midst of deciding. Gov Cuomo is dancing around and we all assume he is gonna give in somehow.

Education outreach networking we have got to keep spreading the word about the dangers/death and about the viable alternatives that are available.

I am gonna compose a contact letter start collecting e-mail contact information ( addresses ) and see if I can not inspire these groups to reach out to each other to combine forces.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Excellent. If I think of any groups I can send them to you.

[-] -1 points by DKAtoday (33802) from Coon Rapids, MN 12 years ago

Sure - I am gonna start a post now - to collect e-mail contact addresses - It will also be where I place a copy of the contact letter I will send - then others can copy off the addresses and the message and send the message out themselves ( they can also send their own messages ) to add their voice to the request that these groups work together.

Hello DKA, Thank you for very informative link.

Hey Nevada - thx. I am considering posting the full E-Mail as there was a lot of good articles in it besides this one. But I saw the article on coal and said - that is a starter and a complete post in itself. People are not aware of how many things that industry is doing that negatively affects their health - as in being a major cause of cancer along with other types of illness. And the government is supporting this farce called clean coal.

The women who support him have apparently been drugged - because they seem to think he is a Magic Man. Drugged I tell's ya DRUGGED.
