Anyone with strong website and database management skills please help organize this site, it's overwhelming already!! A good starting model is the Canadian Open Politics editable wiki at openpolitics.ca

I'm a Java/database developer and would definitely be willing to help out.

This is a good start, but you need to go the head your screaming at the monsters feet. wall street starts at K street .

The Communist Corporatist System is ran by the family's that have worked in the bureaus that we can't elect. these are the same family's that have worked there from the beginning and if you think that they don't have family in the DOD your wrong.

There was talk about the Liberty Plaza demonstrators going to Washington at some point. There is also an OccupyDC group forming. Go to occupytogether.org for more info.

This is just some site on the internet, and the de facto central place to communicate. We need more sites.

Well, if it is about starting more sites, I will start one. I have seen other forums, they are on free servers and also not the easiest use and don't have traffic.

I did register http://occupywallstreet.wikia.com awhile ago.. but I don't know if that's a good place for a wiki, since we don't really have control of it.

What are the other sites you speak of?

I know, I wish they would, I have skills & am willing to help. This is a terribly disorganized forum

take a look at the OSPF website, particularly the IT/Technical section here - http://ospoliticalframework.wordpress.com/ospf-sections/framework/it-technical-structure/ for only a beginning, possible, list of things that would need to be considered, also see Citizen Voters http://ospoliticalframework.wordpress.com/ospf-sections/framework/citizen-voters/ for other possible ideas.

Obviously, I am thinking beyond this website, and how to turn it into a platform for direct voting by citizens.

A platform for voting would also help this movement crystalize its "demands"

Thanks, I'll check that out. .

I truly hope this leads into a whole new form of democracy (in between Republic form of Government and Direct Democracy), where transparency is not just something sprinkled on a report, but actually used where all citizens can see and believe in it. I've been promoting an Open Source Political Framework for almost two years, where it places an accent on Separation of State and Politics for genuine stability.

I know - I think just the fact that they've started a conversation and some networking for people who aren't being represented is a BIG accomplishment.

Also, there is so much value of going out there and reclaiming the right to assemble and to public political speech. Simply holding a demonstration & marching in today's climate of fear is an act of courage.
