A very good post.. I myself do not know too much about the specific statistics but I have seen many that are pretty similar, and sound about right...

The current society, and ever since been founded, has been a curious dynamic... The population has been extensively exploited... like by many various big ranchers, land owners, factory owners, bankers, etc...

Somehow these questionable elements have managed to be very successful, even with some level of checks and balances in the constitution... (under a system that advocates for individual freedom and liberty for all), overall, they are actually pretty rampant and not much deterred from these questionable practices. Our bureaucracy has been slow to right wrongs, and internally occupied by special interests that serve these elements.

Combine this with a public which, even with free press and the idea of public education, is easily manipulated and stirred up to questionable agenda, and you have a mess. It makes one wonder why that even with 'free speech', progress and fair practices can often seem so far away in so many areas...

why is it that conspiracies never have a good ending? why don't we ever hear about the secret cabals dedicated to peace? when did we stop believing in super heros?
