Matthew 19
"23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God."

What should we think about the "moneychangers" from Wall Street?
I hear Lockheed Martin has a US Gov't contract to produce huge needles just so they can make it to heaven as well.
Interesting parable, yes. Did you know that historians have found that the proverbial "eye of a needle" was actually in reference to the outer perimeter entrance to Jerusalem-- which they called "The Eye of the Needle". It was an opening in the wall on the north entrance if I'm not mistaken.
Did you know that it's a hoax? The outer perimeter entrance existed during the Middle Ages, but not during the time when Jesus lived.
That's why I asked. I saw a History Channel account on the subject. It made sense, but I did not research the matter myself. In the documentary, they actually depicted Jesus going through the "eye of the needle" entrance on his donkey. I guess that wasn't as accurate as it seemed, eh?
Interesting, I didn't know that was a hoax. I'll have to check that out.
The rich folks of the world created this hoax many centuries ago, to justify their greed.

Jesus CONSISTENTLY condemned "the ways of the World" - whether Roman, Jewish or other - and announced the coming of the Kingdom of God.
Isn't that precisely what this Worldwide Movement for Social Justice is about?
Jesus was no anarchist, he wanted to replace the ESTABLISHED DIS-ORDER by TRUE ORDER, founded on Justice, Compassion and Love.
