Court cases take so long, people forget. Somehow the pressure must be maintained.

Depressing!

[-] 2 points by Renneye (3874) 12 years ago

[-] 1 points by Ache4Change (3340) 12 years ago

Thank-you very much for your kind welcome and Lots of love to you too. I'll save a pitchfork for you also!

[-] -3 points by Clicheisking (-210) 12 years ago

Oh my! The threats here!

[-] 1 points by Ache4Change (3340) 12 years ago

What about the 'threat' to my kids' futures ?

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

What threat to your kids future?

[-] 1 points by Ache4Change (3340) 12 years ago

The 'threat' that means no affordable college, no affordable healthcare, the army as only option, no jobs, no chance at even getting what I have, etc. Maybe you don't have kids. I was never much frightened by anything in my life for me, but for them, yes I am, I admit it.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

I do have a child.

College is not affordable: we had to use state school, Health care is not affordable so we don't have any.

I share your fear. I suggest:

Replace pro 1% conservatives w/ pro 99% progressives, & protest for real change that benefits the 99% on these issues.

[-] 0 points by Clicheisking (-210) 12 years ago

The rope? Are you threatening violence?

Beautiful! As I said before: you are welcome to just bring it on red scum.

Why stop at ALEC? Let's sue for Norquist allegiance pledge and holding the country hostage for political gain!

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Ok. How about letting the country be downgraded because they refused to consider a tax increase on the 1%.

That's gotta be treasonous

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 12 years ago

I want witness protection.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Good thinkin' we might need it.

[-] 2 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 12 years ago

The FUCKING CRAZY Norquist Pledge and ALEC-subscription should definitely be grounds for disqualification of public service.

What if some pols wanted to conduct themselves according to Ayn Rand or Milton Friedman? Jesus f-ing Christ! Pretty soon they'll start edging toward the MF bible.

We are a secular country, a peoples country; not a theocracy or corporation.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Amen! ;)

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Great links. Thx.

Much news in post debate on Romneys many lies.

Pres screwed up, but I'm not convince his failure wasn't planned,

He has plenty of time & 2 debates to recover, & the MSM loves the comeback story.

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 12 years ago

We might want to consider that he might not want the job anymore, after millions of pouting voters betrayed him in 2010, making his job impossible.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

I think Pres Obama absolutely wants to be re elected. Even though we went to sleep after 2008 election, and the 2010 betrayal that the kochs tea party wackos take the house!

I think he has big plans for declaring an end to the war on terror, repealing constitutional violations, eliminating nuclear weapons. green energy, economic equity, & more!

[-] 1 points by WSmith (2698) from Cornelius, OR 12 years ago

Of course he has plans, he had plans, too! But our presidency is not a dictatorship, even though Cons contradict that with dictatorial governing practices. We let them hog tie him, we need to redeem ourselves.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Correct. It is up to us! We can't expect any pol to do everything we need. We MUST force the change we want.

So IF he gets reelected, & IF we are effective at providing pressure, we MIGHT get some incremental bit of improvement.

That's all! Maybe when the new horizontal, from the ground up system is in place we can achieve more.

Until then we are left with the corrupt, broken system we have where we MIGHT get some bit of incremental progress.

Such is the state of our situation. Desperate & fraught with obstacles.

Peace

That would have something to do with the Wisconsin Constitution, wouldn't it? They do have one, don't they?

But is it wrong? You betcha!

If you haven't seen this, spend 39 seconds and see where this is coming from

thanks I have heard of weyrich and this conservative plan, but never saw him.

Mandatory voting for all! it's what the 1% fear the most.

[-] 1 points by brightonsage (4494) 12 years ago

They have much to fear. Barbarians at the gates.

[-] 0 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Are we the babarians at their gates or are they the barbarians at out gates?

[-] 1 points by brightonsage (4494) 12 years ago

I believe they are currently the occupiers of the castles and we are the serfs. When we oppose them, they call us barbarians. It is time for a new Magna Carta, acknowledging our rights and cleaning up the system.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Agreed! Long over due for a new statement of equality/freedom that addresses the inequities created by the 1% plutocrats rigging the system against the serfs.

[-] 1 points by brightonsage (4494) 12 years ago

We concur.

[-] 1 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

well done.

[-] 0 points by yobstreet (-575) 12 years ago

Well, I'll tell you one thing... this issue could not have come at a worse time for Republicans; in fact, the timing was so poor that it would be incredulous to assert that it was, in fact, a GOP attack on collective bargaining - it cost them millions of votes.

[-] 2 points by VQkag2 (16478) 12 years ago

Wisconsin GOP is a bunch of right wing wacko extremists criminals who are working against workers, and serving the 1%.

I hope they get impeached, & jail time.

[-] -2 points by yobstreet (-575) 12 years ago

That's possible.

Two watchdog groups have filed a lawsuit against five Wisconsin state lawmakers; it claims that the Republicans violated the state’s public records law by failing to disclose private emails that may have tied them to the conservative advocacy group the American Legislative Exchange Council.

Common Cause and the Center for Media and Democracy sued five lawmakers, Reps. Tyler August, Dan Knodl, Tom Larson, Pat Strachota and Jeremy Thiesfeldt, in county circuit court over their failure to provide private emails after a public records request by CMD.
