The media group had its own paypal that they were linking to at the livestream feed.

Right, and well, to be honest, if I kinda hate the irony of donating via "credit" card--that's partially what this is about, right? PayPal would make a lot more sense as a direct debit approach, but if that's what's available, then no whining. Thanks again.

occupy paypal. Paypal has billions in rolling reserve from people and small businesses. They pay no interest, no taxes and claim the money is there, in the webpage, right. They keep the money for 6 months, 10% to 20% of all income, no matter seller or buyer, they changed contract in 2008 more than 55 times in one single day but before that they started to take 400+ million from accounts in the USA and UK, the 2 most crooked countries. Paypal is a scam, an Occupy Paypal section must be created, Paypal is not a secured bank and thus, is a risk if you have money there, money on "hold" with absolutely no reason for 6 months. Another Rolling Scam created when everyone used to be stupid, now, everyone waking up, we should stop this scams and paypal is in Wallstreet, they control a big part and they should not get away with it. Occupy Paypal, who will start it?
I highly recommend actually donating necessary items, personally. Money is great, but there's a specific need for items, some of which are heavy or awkward to carry. The donate page has a list as well as the NYCGA news stream.

It might be useful to create a backup donation stream (or several), in case the authorities pressure PayPal to freeze OWS accounts for whatever reasons. It has happened before, I seem to remember...
