To say, TBC – “Take Back Congress?”
Why should we have to wait until the election to take on the gridlock in Congress caused by members making pledges to all and sundry? Let’s actually do something! Let’s take our own pledge – a ‘non-partisan’ one: - “We will not vote for any politician, regardless of party, who is beholden to a pledge and who has not publically declared a willingness to compromise on short-term job creation and on long-term deficit reduction.”
What’s needed? A TBC website, a secure pledging procedure, tallies by congressional district, viral messaging through the social media….. and you! What do ya’ll think?
I agree with the who Take back Congress idea. Have you seen my post about two horrible bills that are now in Congress, one may pass tomorrow.
OWS, needs to get more active in protesting against this corruption in D.C. It is completely out of control. On that website, you need to blow up their spot and inform the public of the horrible bills in Congress that may pass because they are keeping the American Public in the dark. They don't want informed constituents and it shows.
