these names are confusing me last month it was Ron Lawl Now it's Rick Sanitarium
It's funny for OWS not being a partisan movement you all sure do move quickly to start trashing someone of the opposite party. I am so glad I'm an independant and don't have to mindlessly follow the party line.
Is that really a fair assessment? If you're going to call people to task for trashing other people, make sure you call Rick to task for trashing gays, and for trashing black people as the only ones on welfare.
That's not the point. I'm not saying he's a good guy or a bad guy, I don't know enough about him. I'm just humord at the OWS double standard when it comes to Reps and Dems and how OWS claims to be non party affiliated. You don't hear any bashing of Charlie Rangel who has trashed Harlem for years. You don't hear anything about Al Gore who has made millions on these "Green" projects that don't work while using 5 times more energy in his own house than 85% of American house holds. Why the difference? If OWS is not party affiliated, then why arent people jumping up and down on those issues as well?
I've heard plenty of bashing and criticisms of Obama, GOP LITE, on this site. There certainly is more trashing directed at the right, because OWS leans left, that is a reality. It's not hard to figure out. But it doesn't necessarily have anything to do with parties. That is an assumption on your part.
It's not an assumption when it is on here every single day. You are atleast honest about OWS being a left leaning movement it's just sad that they won't come out and just say it to the world.
You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. If you want to condemn trash talking, condemn both sides. I've encountered countless trolls on this site bad mouthing me and the political figures on the left. Yes, I try to be honest. I don't call myself independent, and then come across completely nonobjective by denying the reality that both sides trash talk.
OWS is a left leaning movement, but by my observation, they try to be inclusive of all who want to join on any issue they agree with. This leaderless movement does not have a concrete political affiliation; however, many individuals within the movement may or may not identify with any number of parties or ideologies.
I didn't at all take one side or another. OWS is the one making the claim that they are non party affiliated and I just pointed out that for a non party affiliated movement, they are very quick to bash republicans. The Tea Party with all of there faults made no bones about being on the side of the Reps and it actually increased there membership. Why won't OWS do the same?
Why are you so sensitive to how OWS operates? Must OWS conform to your sensibilities to make you happy? Who will they have to conform to next?
The statements about how they operate is very clearly stated on the home page. Ever heard the phrase, live and let live.
Lol, you are all wrapped up in OWS haveing to listen to me and missing the entire point. It's not about conforming it's about having a collective goal and OWS doesn't have one. Basically what your telling me is this: We are an orgainization that believes your either with us or against us and if you don't think like us, don't talk to us. Yet you claim to represent the 99% which I happen to be a part of. So because I don't subscribe to all of the same ideals you do, my opinion doesn't matter and I shouldn't attempt to engage you on any of the issues. Do I have that right?
You turned this into an issue about how OWS operates as an excuse to criticize them for trash talking, not me. I'm against unfair criticism. If you want to criticize the trash talkers, be my guest, but criticize both sides.
And I suggest you read alot of my other posts on this site where I do all the time. I am not criticizing trash talkers only the fact that OWS refuses to acknowledge what it really is.
Are you seriously suggesting I research everyone and build a profile before I respond to a reply. Maybe you should research every one of my posts; I think you'll find that I don't care to much for preposterous statements.
Maybe you should if you are going to make an accusation toward someone. I read other peoples posts all the time when I am talking to them about an issue just to see where there head is.
On their shoulders I would hope. Seriously though, you're right - again. The trash talking isn't productive. I retract my trash talk.
