Forum Post: Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11, They Did Not Have WMD's For Use Against the USA: Never Forget When Your Government Lied To You

Ever wonder what Wikileaks Exposed?

Not all soldiers are like this. DOES NOT change the fact that some of them are. Does not make what's been seen here reversible. This is not an isolated incident.

Thank You for saying this. Remember when Clinton's, essential flirtation, with a woman of legal age, was all news all the time for a YEAR OR TWO?

Then a Republican gets us into a war by misleading us with treasonous lies, and that is just the very begining if his crimes that go on for eight years, and now all we hear about are the problems with Obama?

Can you say mind control?

Yup

Iraq: Its amazing how smoothly they managed to shift from "Disarming Iraq of WMD's" to "destroying Al Quaeda (for 9/11)" to "liberating the Iraqi people" during the war effort and got most of the nation to buy their excuses every time... Saddam might be out... but the average Iraqi is in a much worse situation than he or she was under his reign... Not to mention our 'complete withdrawal' is a sham. Private contractors and 'trainers' remain in the thousands.

Afghanistan: Think about how strategically it is located... provides a FOB for possible excursions into Iran and Pakistan (should we feel the need to 'disarm' them). Also, its an alternative path to China. Whenever we pull out, it is almost inevitable that we will still maintain some kind of presence there.

Libya: Details are emerging how (in contravention of UN mandate to not have international troops on the ground) the UK had special forces dispersed in combat zones. In the early stages of the war, Armed British troops were intercepted and held by the Libyans. Gaddafi killed without trial, investigation into his death has basically stopped.

Iran: 3rd largest liquid oil reserves. Willing to buck the trend and trade oil in multiple currencies and gold. Possible nuclear ambitions (not PROVEN... yet...). Supposedly oppressing people... Iranian women have more freedoms than women in Saudi Arabia... one of our closest allies... and incidentally the country of origin of most of the 9/11 hijackers, planners and their funding...

Don't forget how "Al Queda" was quietly merged into "The Taliban" as our enemy there.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Which dates back to the 80's where something similar to the Libya conflict went down, the government/CIA backed the Mujahideen and the Afghan Arabs .

What is truly sad is that none of the wars fought by our country have actually met any of the stated objectives.

All they have done is...

1: Increase our debt 2: Cost us the lives of thousands of young men and women 3: Create an image of us waging a war against Islam (not true) and for oil (this is probably true) rather than anything else 4: Increase support for radical Islamist groups 5: Crush the morale of moderate Islam who are now being killed by both sides, by us in the form of collateral damage and by the radicals to further their own agendas... 6: Push the world that much closer to global conflict

Afghanistan is going to be Vietnam all over. The Taliban are all set to regain power in Afghanistan. Pakistan will still be leeching off us to keep them 'in check'

The Iraqi people are seeing more people die in 'everyday violence' than ever in Saddams reign. They no longer have regular access to many of the basic amenities that he used to be able to provide.

Instead of asking Iran to abandon all nuclear ambitions... how about we tell them that we will help them build a civilian reactor and provide them with fuel? Give them the tech to use the fuel but ask them to stop enrichment on their own? Get the IAEA to operate it and ship all byproducts of the plant back to an allied country.

Why must we always use the stick and not a carrot?

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

To answer your question,

Because the "stick" makes profits. It's a pathetic reality that the "elite" play in.

[-] 1 points by toukarin (488) 12 years ago

The question was rhetorical... But I hope someday that we will no longer need to fight... That we will command global trust and respect rather than demand obedience... The ends should never be used to justify the means. That's what real criminals do...

Fascinating. Alarming. Thanks for posting this and connecting the dots.

Also there are Al Qaeda ties with the Libyan "rebels." A NATO commander admitted that early in 2011 essentially saying "it's not all of them."

Now news is coming out about the rebels horrid treatment of blacks. As well as mass slaughter of people who oppose them.

I have found it incredibly difficult to find any real information on the war in Afghanistan.

All this is absolute bs. It's like most people don't even care to take in the fact that everyone responsible for 9/11 is dead. Obama is a war monger and fear monger just like Bush. It's really sad to see that most "democrats" are just as biased and brainwashed to their party as "republicans"

And let us consider the fate of Iran from this perspective as well. Is it really pursuing a weapon of mass destruction?

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

The worst part is that the US knows they do not have one. The US and the media is trying to imply that they are going to make one. It's BS even worse than Iraq.

[-] 2 points by arturo (3169) from Shanghai, Shanghai 12 years ago

This is probably the most dangerous issue in the world today. Since Russia and China are allies of Iran, and have stated that they would defend it to the point of nuclear war, makes me think some madman on our side is actually trying to set off a global nuclear war.

[-] 1 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

Can you share links on that? I've read how Russia and China strongly disapprove and that Russia would most likely back Syria and Iran, but have not heard any talk as extreme as you mentioned.

Here's one that spells it out:

Chinese General Threatens US with World War 3 over Iran http://www.usmessageboard.com/military/197032-chinese-general-threatens-us-with-world-war-3-over-iran.html

A quote:

"A military General from the Chinese National Defense University says that China should not hesitate to protect Iran, even if it means launching world war three, as more US warships are dispatched to the region amidst heightening tensions."

If you go to YouTube and look up "WW3 China" or "WW3 Iran" you will get quite a selection. Here's another video outside of Youtube:

http://larouchepac.com/node/21458

If you go to "search" at that site and look up "thermonuclear war" you'll get some additional information also.

It was a very unnecessary war. I knew it from the moment George Bush was ordering Saddam to "disarm or else". He had nothing AT THAT POINT IN TIME to "disarm". George Bush was a horrible President for sure. Unfortunately his idiocy gave way to this incompetent, class warfare, socialist baphoon we have now and Liberals used George's incompetency as a standard to compare Obama to.

[-] 4 points by TrevorMnemonic (5827) 12 years ago

I'd say Obama has been a full extension of the Bush war legacy. It's become more obvious with the situation with Iran, the war against Libya, the huge push in Afghanistan, the drone strikes in Pakistan, the drone strikes in Yemen, and the 3 years of "Dumb War" in Iraq under Obama. Remember every person responsible for 9/11 is dead and all this continues.

[-] 2 points by Nordic (390) 12 years ago

Obama is no socialist, but another neo-fascist enabler of the neo-cons and the corporatists and the Military Industrial Complex.

He was a Trojan Horse, a fraud.

And he will be re-"elected". Because the Powers That Be want it that way.

Forgive but don't forget.
