hes right about one thing. everyone rushed to go protest. nobody did their homework. This entire movement is a big stinking mess of miscommunication. I have been trying to help for 3 days now and i can't even get an adult answer to assorted meaningful suggestions. Hes dead wrong about his issues with asking for government ot do the right thing. Thats what government is supposed to do. https://www.facebook.com/note.php?note_id=10150409084095833

The ultimate answer to Government: Direct Democracy over the Internet.

No more Representatives, no more lobbiest corruption.

If we can make a secure purchase on Amazon.com, We can have a secure vote for line item budgets, military operations and all of the laws of the land.

Representative governement is as dead as the Age of Kings. Dead. We have the technology NOW! We need to wrestle power from the elite and put one MAN / WOMAN / ONE VOTE into effect.

You are the man ! I was trying to convince all my friends that representative democracy is no longer relevant in this day and age. What you said is the future and it will happen. I doubt, if the rich and powerful would allow it before year 2050 though. Sorry for being pessimistic on this one.

i agree 100%. your point is really important to me since i am working on a project do exactly that. we need to create an online platform which will allow people to vote, create, propose amend comment and discuss legislation online.

i am working on that right now, and it would be great if the wall st movement could move the general assembly process online. it would be much more efficient.

I've actually had three videos made by stefbot directed at me. He couldn't pin down my argument so he went into backhanded ad hominem attacks. Check it out.

was your argument the comment against empiricism? he did a pretty good job explaining why einstein was a empiricist. what would your alternative be to not having empiricism?

or was it the one about capitalism being a system that destroys the earth? he didnt really address that, he started talking about sam harris and the bad parts about the state.

Empiricism, as a way of thinking, was my problem with stefbot. Einstein's theories were not based on empirical data. His theories were based in thought experiments which were only later verified by physical, "empirical" experiments.

I have an Idea for a list. Bring back all offshore jobs, if American companies do not they will be heavily taxed. Take away the tax cuts for the rich and make taxes be the same across the board. Make it so no corporation has any say in laws of any kind or have them involved in politics. Military members who have been in for more than 4-5 years should get paid more than 25k a year. These brave men and women risk their lives so we can live comfortable and have our freedoms.
