Forum Post: Instead of going through this 1% problem solving again why not adopt the proven system we came up with 200 years ago

We already went through this 200 years ago and then when we reincarnated over here in America we forgot the solution we already solved. This time we no longer have the luxury of time to refine our proven solution that other nations will adopt 200 years from now to solve their 1% problem. 39 nations have already adopted this system from the work we did when we lived in Scandinavian countries in previous lifetimes. The problem is the 1% keep reincarnating with us. What did we come up with? We the people commissioned a New Guard for our future security. Jason Bourne defines this New Guard. We commission Jason with the power to reverse corporate personhood and to investigate corruption before handing out indictments for him to prosecute. He delivers our mandates to our reps. He gets government to function as intended. Our officials act with complete immunity from the law until we commission our New Guard. Who agrees?

I agree. Here's a rewrite of the Declaration of Independence. The original launched our displeasure with the Monarchy. This modification articulates similar grievances and remedies with a 21st Century update.

IN CONGRESS, 2011. THE UNANIMOUS DECLARATION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA's 99% .

WHEN, in the Course of human Events, it becomes necessary for 99% of the PEOPLE to dissolve the Political & Economic Bands which have SHACKLED them to AUTOCRATIC EXPLOITATION , and to assume, among the Powers of the Earth, the separate and equal Station to which the Laws of Nature entitle them, a decent Respect to the Opinions of Mankind requires that they should declare the Causes which impel them to demand Reformation.

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed, with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty , and the Pursuit of Happiness.

-- That to secure these Rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these Ends, it is the Right of the 99% to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate, that Governments long established, should not be changed for light and transient Causes; and accordingly all Experience hath shewn, that Mankind are more disposed to suffer, while Evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the Forms to which they are accustomed.

But when a long Train of Abuses and Usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object, evinces a Design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future Security.

Here's the rest of the OWS Declaration of Independence.

Hi Oracle, wow, now there are two of us. What was that 2011 Declaration? was that submitted to congress? Was it submitted by a special group of anarchist ows? What do you think about providing New Guards?

I simply inserted a few relevant words and passages to the original Declaration of Independence. It's striking how similar the grievances are, between the Colonists and the 99%, which ignited the rebellion/revolution against the tyranny of the Monarchy and may well do the same against the 1%.

Simply a few relevant words..... your too modest.
