This content is user submitted and not an official statement

I, as many have wondered what is going on other than our own personal grievances .

Just a short statement and a 2 hour movie to remind people what we are here for .

There are many questions here wondering what the O.W.S. is about .

Watch the movie ; Berkley in the 60s !

I am usually late in understanding , but I see there are more out there like me than I knew .

I have my complaints with the way things are going and this movie , ( documentary ) helped me to some degree , and I hope it helps others !

I found many similarities with the O.W.S. movement .

Watch to the end where Susan Griffin makes her statement !

Berkeley in the 60's movie

117 minutes http://www.multiupload.com/PPE5C500C7

The 1960's alumni of the Berkeley campus tell their stories about how the quiet school became the site of massive political activism on the part of students fighting for their right of political expression on campus and then against the Vietnam War. http://1vbd3.cjb.net

I see none and I was there in the 60's. It was about peace and love not war. We just wanted the war to end and party. The music backed up our movement back then and of course in standard fashion became mainstream and the Big corporations and music/motion picture industry profited immensely because of it and still do to this day. The OWS seems like a confusing ragtag of misfits without jobs joined by a bunch of communists and anarchists.

People interpret ows how they want. If they only see misfits that want to ruin society that is because that is what they are looking for. Their preconceptions are obvious.

I'm not an intellectual , whereas I wouldn't have known what your statement said if it were not for Google !

Nice one !

Isn't that how they thought of you back then ?

Yup, and we were protesting a liberal president to boot.
