I thought about using the solar energy and space heaters and some weird tarp system but that seems completely unrealistic. Then I thought that maybe we could focus more on south of the frost line occupations during the winter but losing wall st would be a huge blow. Does anyone have any ideas?

Remember, Zuccotti Park is a symbol, it is not the whole fight. Even Washington had to regroup at Valley Forge for the winter. Even if the cops rousted everybody at some point, does that mean it is all over? No it doesn't. You have to think about the long haul here. With internet resources it is not always necessary to be holding ground. http://sibob.org/wordpress/?p=8026
It is very true. I know that the feeling won't die in me if wall street gets shut down tomorrow. I hope we can all feel that way. Thanks for the amazing article too. It's true that we have reached a boiling point and these feelings will not go away.
Yours for the duration.

Bivy sacks + sleeping bags work great . Throw a Helious heater inside and you will be warm and toasty all night long. Stay away from down. If it get's wet it loses all it's heat retention, it actually pulls heat away from you ! Also a good wool blanket is just as warm as some $1,000 sleeping bags. You can get wool Army surplus blankets for about $20. Some one posted a link a while back to $6 wool blankets from harbor freight. They are probably really cheaply made but get 2 of them and I'm positive they will keep you warm... A pretty girl to snuggle up with works good too. =P
