Forum Post: IMPORTANT - Watch for manipulation of the message

Right now we've got Newt Gingrich telling everyone to take a shower and get a job. I don't need to tell everyone here how ignorant of a statement that is... however, right now we've got the media demonizing this movement , we've also got the establishment working divide and conquer angles to destroy public opinion of the movement. This is not a left/right issue, this movement is against general corruption in the government and the banking industry, RIGHT? As well as that i've witnessed some good protests like "we won't stop until we stop stop and frisk" , which is a protest for constitutional rights in NYC , i'm all for that and I think most people are , left or right... be careful about allowing media and even THIS WEB SITE from controlling and steering the agenda in a way that divides people.

Keep the collective goal simple and as inclusive to as many people as possible but that doesn't mean you can't protest whatever you want as well!
