"Search Engines Are a Thorn in Congress' Side"

"A new Google feature is hurting Congressional reputations.

The popular search engine now "suggests" relevant searches when you begin typing based on other users' behavior. But that means people who type a lawmakers' name often see the worst things people think about them.

For Rep. Alcee Hastings, that's a bribery charge he was cleared of long ago. For Rep. Jean Schmidt, it's an ethics investigation.

And for at least nine members of Congress, it's whether or not they are gay."

Politicians are hurting the American public, Google doesn't hurt them! Too much crap has been going on in our capital as well as the state governments. The morals on Capitol Hill are about the same as the morals in the sleaziest parts of Anytown, America. The only difference is they wear a suit and tie! Shame on the vast majority of them!

You know, blaming Google for the inaccurate information posted about people by other people, when it has no knowledge (and no way to filter that information) is like blaming highways for drunk drivers.
