Forum Post: I'm a little pissed about being illegally detained Wednesday night

On Wednesday night after being directed by the NYPD to an area, where we thought President Obama's motorcade would be passing closeby, it didn't come by. It was a ruse. There were police fences in front, buildings on one side, and more fencing on the other side of us, then suddenly without warning, and to our surpise they closed the back side. We were illegally detained for more than two hours. We could not leave. There was one woman that had to go to the bathroom and I don't know what happened there.

I think the time is right to return their chicanery by having flash mobs. I suggest we set up a certain day and time where we all show up at different locations in mid town and wait for the next alert as to where to meet (all in the disguise of Joe Ordinary Citizen), then have a one hour demonstation with smaller signs. Then tuck the signs away under our coats and take different paths away knowing that within 10 mins., we will be redirected by cell phone somewhere else, then take different routes to that place and repeat. We could even consider singing Jingle Bells or Banks got bailed out..... in small groups along the way. Would that work?
