I still owe $80,000 for my art degree and can't find a job. The 1% OWES me a job. I stand with you brothers and sisters to prosecute and arrest the rich for stealing our money!
I want wealth redistribution and I want it NOW! I want a $20 minimum wage and I want it NOW!
An art degree... that's your problem. That's America's big college problem. Going to school for a "business" degree is like an extension of high school and hardly worth the time. Same thing for an art degree. Unless you have a plan, going because you don't know what you really want to do is a waste of time and completely stupid. Yet so many people do it. Work hard, go for engineering where there is a lack of workers, not a lack of jobs. Go for a degree that is WORTH something, not just a fancy $80k piece of paper.
Well said!
Not sure if this post is a joke or not...but you are the one who chose to go in the art direction.
I hope it's a joke... Or this may just be social Darwinism.
You are an idiot! It is NOT the fault of the big businesses it is yours. Why would you get such a useless degree? DTOM
You want some fries with that degree. Your fault for wasting four years of your life
Incredible, right? Go on OWS for a little support and you get a bunch of posts from conservatives bashing your degree. I feel you, man- I've got a BA and I've been treading water through part time jobs for a long time, it's definitely brutal and I'm right there with you on your wants.
If you had posted to reddit I would say 'link to your portfolio?'
If you graduate art school without a solid portfolio and vision then.....
If the wealth has been stolen, it isn't redistribution, it is criminal justice. That's why one of the demands is to investigate the recent crises and why I demand the confiscation of Goldman Sachs for treasonous fraud and international mega-fraud.
Colleges are selling kids on taking out loans for worthless degrees. No offense, but 80K for an art degree is just not a real bright thing to do. I would imagine that the financial aid department didn't remind you that you can NEVER discharge student loan debt, even with bankruptcy. I am sad for you, but you made the decision to take this debt on and unfortunately the 1% doesn't care.
Hilarious! Dude, you have lost it.
I think you should learn more about why you are in this situation in the first place. This is not because of the 'one percent' it is because of how our societal system works... Take a look at some of Peter Josephs work with Zeitgeist, or Chris Martenson Crash Course work and also Mike C Ruppert and a whole host of others who explain that the way money works, infinite growth is pushed and social imprinting lead our society to what it is today...
The 99% are just the victims of a fundamentally broken system that is doomed to fail (with or without OWS action).
