Ignorance is bliss....

"For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow..."

once your eyes are opened you can't go back, it will not be the same as when you were in darkness, cause now you can see the ugly and the desolation, whereas before you only saw what you were programmed to think was there. Now it's hard to fool you with news and talk shows, and that is extremely dangerous, cause, you can actually say the dreaded word "NO", that is real power!

Yes, it is an apt metaphor; you stay in the matrix of lies and you are just a battery, feeding a machine that is processing the planet into picked over junk. Killing the system that sustains you is never a smart move, and yet people are doing it, while believing some strange dream about Freedom vs "the Them".

I'd like for you to elaborate some more on this, if you don't mind please. Your view sounds interesting. Thank you.

Culture is the Matrix of control. People just 'going along' with the current system are helping maintain the drudgery of wage slavery in the service of the 1%. We can brake free of the matrix and reason a way out, in fact many have already been 'the one', and created a multitude of paths, to lead away from the suicidal-prison-system that is the matrix of the dominant culture. Corporate Fascism is an anti-human system of war making for dollars.
