If you were sexually assaulted at an Occupy gathering or otherwise, do not be afraid to report what happened to you. Rape and sexual assault is a crime of silence and needs to be aggressively prosecuted. Sexual assault constitutes anything from unwanted touching to the most heinous sex acts. If you were assaulted, call 911 immediately. A municipal ambulance will be dispatched to your location. Upon arrival, you can either be transported to an Emergency Room of your choice or, as the crew will recommend, to a specialty sexual assault center Emergency Room. In the New York City area, certain Emergency Rooms are designated as sexual assault referral centers, and have specially trained staff to deal with these cases. If an assault has happened in the past, you can still call 911 and an ambulance will still be dispatched. Or, if you prefer, you can make a police report directly to a precinct. Calling 311 in the New York City area can further assist you. Sexual assault can happen to anyone, young or old, rich or poor, man or woman, and can be perpetrated by anyone. Don't be afraid to come forward.

OWS struggles for creating a crime-less society not to talk of system change.

I think you should send this to the National Organization for Women and demand that the support this openly!

It's sad to say, but you won't get much support. It might make the OWS look bad. Don't feel bad, they won't support this either. They think it will take away from bashing companies like Walmart.

What I read OW security had detained an accused rapist and turned him over to NYPD. Anyone who is raped ought to pursue justice, though unknown numbers don't for various reasons. Definitely no one has been raped or assaulted in Liberty Square since NYPD did its mass assault, vandalism and property theft.

I doubt an examination could find evidence of a rape or other assault that took place over ten days ago, unless the victim didn't shower and didn't wash her clothes since then. Probably would need credible witnesses.

I would break a rapist's neck myself, but I cannot help wondering if this post isn't a solicitation for the purpose of raping the Occupy movement.
