Why don't you blame those who made, and keep it, illegal? If they would just legalize it there wouldn't be illegal drug trafficking. Not to mention all those guns our ATF gave them...
SamuelAdams - I think weed is like coffee. Even if it's legal people will want the "good stuff" from the fertile valleys in central and south america. Plus, if it's legal our corrupt Government will tax so much that the illegal trade will continue. Thanks for making that point though. Have a nice day sir.
Except weed isn't like coffee in the sense that you can grow the "good stuff" literally anywhere. So it could be grown in our own country. Illegal trade will definitely continue, no doubt about it (even cigarettes and alcohol have this problem and those are much harder to produce than weed), but it would still cause a significant drop in the amounts imported through Mexico or elsewhere. Then the problem would be at home growers who aren't operating within the regulatory guidelines.
