If you give me a fish, you have fed me for a day

All our grievances are interconnected and we have the power to resist. It's up to each of us to make that choice.
Educate, agitate, organize.
Let's keep #winning.

What OWS has done is begun a process, a movement. If we can stay strong as long as is required, (years) we WILL change things for the 99%. It has only been 8 months! Solidarity! Agitate, Agitate, Agitate!
Awesome
Nice :)
As a preemptive move, I've bookmarked that excellent site, whatthefuckhasoccupydone.com.
Bring it on, naysayers, bring it on!
This is a great website and I thank yuo for bringing it to my attention.
Seeing them all in one spot like that is great. Thanks go to jart and the creators of that page.
amen
If only we could point to change right there in the streets instead of a list on a website. Argh! We must double our efforts for the rest of the summer.
Glad to see some attention finally paid to the thievery of the 1% through eminent domain abuse. Overturn Kelo!
Nice one.
Great message.
BUSTED! DKAtoday claimed he was too broke to drive 500 miles to Chicago for the NATO protests, but admits here he has plenty of cash for 32-inch monitors and Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Beds. If there is an award for wannabes/posers, you lying little Prick, you have won it hands down!

BUSTED AGAIN! You claim you bought a PC in 2002 that CAME with a 32-inch monitor? Scan and post the invoice, LIAR. 32-inch LCD monitors weren't mass-marketed before 2005.

BUSTED YET AGAIN! In one post you claimed the 32-inch monitor came with the PC you bought in 2002. You now say you did not take the monitor that came with that PC. So were you lying THEN or are you lying NOW? There is no third alternative.

Fibromyalgia is not a "horrible disease". Many call it a Goldbricker's Disease. If DKAtoday even has it - which I doubt - his fastest cure would be to turn off his expensive 32-inch monitor and roll out of his expensive Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Bed and get some serious exercise by - oh, I don't know - PROTESTING!
You are a Grade A Dick.
Fibromyalgia is not a "horrible disease".
My wife has it, along with Lupus SLE. You don't have a clue how bad nerve pain is until you've experienced it, or watch your loved one go through it for years.
If someone buys a 'Tempur-Pedic Adjustable Bed' to help improve the quality of their life because of pain.... what the fuck is it to you? Who made you GOD and judge of all mankind? Fucking asshole.
How long before you get booted this time?
This is sort of a fucked up thing to say to someone. I once had a bad reaction to a very strong anti-biotic, which caused a systemic (body wide) inflammatory response (particularly effecting my connective tissue). According to the doctor at the VA, it was something like what a Fibromyalgia patient suffers (but thankfully, in my case, it was only a temporary side effect of the drug). Speaking from that experience, while I was experiencing the pain, I couldn't do shit (besides lay in bed and whimper). I mean, the pain was unbelievable.
you are a Dick so I double Dick you

Excellent!
What one person does alone does not matter. What many people do together is all that matters.
I like.

"If we organize, that will fix everything!"
Not if you are unwilling to eventually move to an effective solution like the accelerated work week.
(Compare: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/May_1968_in_France . An order of magnitude, or several, beyond what OWS and it still did not lead to major changes.)
A thousand small solutions are pointless if they don't address the root problems, which are unemployment and, beyond that even, too much dependence on authority and "the system"/experts to think up a solution.
The fact that we had to create a website to show we did something is sad. I wish our impact would have been visible right there in the streets, and not only in words on a website. Argh! We must double our efforts for the rest of the summer!
