People who work hard for a living want to be paid a fair wage and have affordable health care instead of watching all of the wealth be funneled to the coffers of the few. A person who works hard, 40 hours a week, should make enough money to live a halfway decent life. Many don't, while the rich get richer. But you work at a fucking bank.

Do you think $7.25/hour is enough? That's the minimum wage in 2011. I'd say $50,000/year sounds reasonable. There are 400 people in this country who, combined, are hoarding as much wealth as 150 million other Americans combined.

Actually living in American gives us the right and DUTY to protest the justices we see. It doesn't take any strength to hide and pretend everything is perfect. The people behind OWS have enough courage to stand up for what they believe. The U.S. needs them.

I graduated near the bottom of my class in high school. I got a job as an apprentice carpenter, worked that for 5 years and lived in my parents basement. Work was not so steady & I realised I could not sustain a life with steady employment. So at 25 I took a four day course on bartending. Got a barttender job & went to junior college and majored in business administration. I then went to get a bachelors degree in social sciences. Now I've been steadily emplyed at a major money center bank for 18 years. Never called in sick, never late.
